Teaching and Administrative Positions
Welcome to the Orfalea Family Children's Center at UCSB!
We are pleased to have you consider joining our professional teaching and administrative staff. We strive to create a sense of community amongst ourselves as well as with the families we serve, and, hope that you will soon find yourself comfortable among new friends and colleagues here at the Center.

Staff
The Center is staffed with a Director, two Program Coordinators, a Family Coordinator, Business Officer, Enrollment Coordinator, Grant Coordinator, 27 Lead Teachers and Teachers, and many UCSB students as classroom assistants. All Lead Teachers must hold Master Teacher Permits issued through the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Teachers also hold permits and have strong educational backgrounds in early childhood education and child development. Center staff are carefully chosen for their outstanding training, ability and experience with children.
