Thank you for your interest in the Orfalea Family Children’s Center.

If you are interested in placing your child's name on our waiting list, please print and complete the Waitlist Form and return it with the wait list fee (staff/faculty/community $25 per child, student $15 per child -- made payable to UC Regents) as soon as possible.

The Center prioritizes waitlist applications by the students, staff and faculty of UCSB. If space remains the Center welcomes unaffiliated families from the community. Within these categories siblings of currently enrolled children are given priority and all applications are sorted by their reservation date. There are several variables that can affect when a space becomes available for you child, including the age of your child, the schedule requested and the amount of withdrawals from the programs. If you need care by a specific date you may want to consider enrolling earlier than needed or exploring enrollment opportunities at other child care facilities. The Center offers a tiered tuition schedule for UCSB student, UCSB staff/faculty and community families. Financial assistance opportunities are available for income eligible families.

Once a classroom placement is available for your child you will be asked to complete the enrollment packet.
