I have been working with young children for over 15 years. I enjoy and learn from the sense of wonder and authenticity that children naturally display as they discover the world around them. I came to UCSB ECCES over seven years ago, before that, I worked with both preschool children and toddlers first at Starr King Parent-Child Workshop and later at Orfalea Early Learning Center at SBCC. I hold an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Santa Barbara City College. I continue taking professional growth units to further my knowledge and stay current in this field. I also hold a teaching permit with the California Department of Education. A little about me. I am from Italy, I have three sons in their teenage and young adult years. I enjoy cooking, reading, walks in nature, bike rides and doing yoga.
