Lead Infant Teacher

White Door

Hello parents and families! I graduated from California State University of Channel Islands with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies. As a Freshman I declared a Pre-nursing major, however during my sophomore year I firmly decided to change to an ECS major. Ever since I have been very pleased with my decision. As an infant I was placed into an In-home day care center. As I grew older I continued to attend after school hours. During high school I began working as an assistant to the daycare provider for several years. This position allowed me to gain a vast amount of experience and an understanding of the many necessities of running a daycare. Shortly after I began working as a caretaker for an elderly woman in the comfort of her home allowing me to become aware of the amount of patience I hold as an individual. As I progressed through my schooling, my passion for learning how to work with children of different needs and capacities continued to grow. I am pleased to be a part of Orfalea Family Children’s Center. When I am not in White Door you can bet to find me hiking a mountain trail or being with my family and friends at the beach.
