I started my work in education as a teacher of special education. I hold several teaching credentials - Elementary Education, Special Education, Early Childhood Education and Montessori Education. I have been with UC Santa Barbara Early Childhood Care and Education Services since 2015. I am dedicated to the spirit of innovation, heart-filled support and learning, and honoring the richness of our diversity. I value the ongoing curiosity, joy, challenges, relationships and compassion for our common humanity. I live in Santa Barbara with my husband and partner Doug, and my two sons - Thomas and Will. They love to hike and I love to walk.
