Pink Door
I have been in the Child Development field for about 35 years and with the UCSB Orfalea Family Children’s Center since 1998. Both of my children attended the Center and both enjoyed returning as volunteers in Turquoise Door and Red Door, for their High School community service and then my son returned just because! I hold a B.A. in Child Development from California State University at Chico and a California Child Development Site Supervisor permit. While at Chico, I gained knowledge and experience at the on-site preschool and working at a local child care center as well for a few years. Since my beginning at the Center, I have remained steadfast in Pink Door, where I enjoy working with my Pink Door children, watching them learn, explore, grow, and experience life through their young eyes.
